William A. Wallace, O.P

Rev. William A. Wallace, author of 16 books and over 300 scholarly articles, is professor of philosophy at the University of Maryland.  He is professor emeritus of the Catholic University of America, where he taught both philosophy of science and history of science for twenty-five years.  In addition to doctorates in philosophy and theology, he holds degrees in physics and electrical engineering.  He served with distinction as a naval officer during World War II, following which he entered the Dominican Order, and was ordained a priest in 1953.
