Martinez Hewlett, Ph.D.

Martinez Hewlett is Emeritus Professor of Biology at the University of Arizona and adjunct professor at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California.  His formal education is in Chemistry and Biology, and his interest in the sciences and in philosophy and theology has made him an advocate of the idea that science and faith are not contradictory.  He coordinates the St. Albert the Great Forum on Theology and the Sciences at the University of Arizona.  Dr. Hewlett also entertains a talent for writing novels.
