Jude Dougherty, Ph.D.

Jude Dougherty is among the giants of Catholic higher education. He was the first layman appointed Dean of the prestigious School of Philosophy at the Catholic University of America and is an emeritus member of the Pontifical Academy of St. Thomas Aquinas. He has served as president of the American Catholic Philosophical Association and the Metaphysical Society and has, for many years been, editor of the sixty-year-old Review of Metaphysics.  Among his books are The Good Life and Its Pursuit and The Logic of Religion.
